Registration 101: The what, when and why
Interested in signing up for the Pioneers? Good news. Registration has started. Please see below for more information on registering for the Orland Park Pioneers tackle, flag and cheer programs:
Registration opened for all programs on 1/1. Cheer registration will be open 1/1 through 6/1. Both Cheer & Flag football will be open without any resident or prior year participation restrictions.
What you’ll need to complete registration:
- Participant information
- Credit card information for payment (Tackle $295, Cheer Tackle Football $295, Cheer Competition $250, Cheer Flag Football $175 and Flag Football $175)
- Orland Park water bill number and name as it appears on the bill for residents *Please note there is an additional $75 non-resident fee
- New participants for Tackle & Flag Football will need to upload a copy their birth certificate and a recent photo
- Tackle & Flag Football participants will need their current weight, height and t-shirt size
Due to the rising interest and roster limitations, registration eligibility for our 2024 tackle football season will open in stages as follows:
1/1 All returning tackle players
1/15 All returning families & prior year Orland Park resident waitlist families
2/1 New Orland Park residents
2/15 Prior year non-resident waitlist families
3/1 New non-residents
All teams will remain open until rosters and waitlists are full.
Other:
- Practice typically begins in late July for Cheer & Tackle, mid-August for Flag.
- Game schedules will be released later.
- Tackle Football runs five days a week, Monday through Friday, until the first game. Cheer runs four days a week and Flag runs three days a week both until the start of school. Once school and games begin, the practices are reduced.
- Each family will be required to participate in our Double Good Popcorn fundraiser. The requirement is $300 in sales/one child (or $150 buyout), $400/two children (or $200 buyout), $500/three or more children in program (or $250 max buyout).
