2023 Orland Park Pioneers Tackle Year-in-Review

Congratulations to all Orland Park Pioneer families, players and fans!

Our tackle football program had another successful season on the field. We once again had all four levels make it to the postseason.  The Varsity & Lightweight teams secured playoff victories in the quarterfinals both advancing to the semi-finals contests.  All four teams participated in the Wednesday Night Football League as well which is a development league played in addition to weekend league.  Our Junior Varsity team led by Andy Rybak, Head Coach & the program’s Head Athletic Director finished the regular season undefeated in the WNFL, ultimately losing in a hard-fought championship game.

The Varsity team, led by Head Coach Vincent Annel included 35 8th graders, twelve of them having 5+ years within the program.  We look forward to all of them continuing their football careers into high school and beyond.

There’s no question, our youth has grown stronger this year because of their participation in the Pioneer football program.
